Use the Sunday Stack as a foundation for your Fanduel lineups.

The Sunday Stack is a weekly column to help you in setting Fanduel lineups. A "stack" is where you start multiple players from the same team to capitalize on scoring opportunities in good matchups.

There is a stack for cash games, 50/50's, double-ups, head-to-heads, and other contests with small player pools. There is also a stack for tournament games, or GPPs (guaranteed prize pools), which are contests with large numbers of players. The values provided are the current Fanduel values.

If you want to see how we have constructed complete rosters, check out our weekly Fanduel Faceoff where we each pick one lineup to battle against each other.

The difference is the cash-game stack is more conservative since there are a large number of winners or high winning percentages in those contests. The tournament stack is a cheaper but riskier stack. The odds of winning a tournament are much smaller, so starting players with lower ownership percentages is much more important.

Cash Game Stack:

The Raiders pass defense is deplorable, and Ryan Fitzpatrick has two top-notch wide receivers. Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are priced appropriately, but Fitz is a bargain this week. This stack will allow you to spend more on quality running backs, like Todd Gurley and Chris Johnson. You can also go all-in on the Jets if you are so inclined and start Chris Ivory in place of or in addition to Decker. You can even safely take it a step further and play the Jets defense. You are only allowed to start four players per team, and you might not want that much exposure with a team traveling cross-country. However, a Jets stack will certainly fly this week.

  • QB - Ryan Fitzpatrick (NYJ - $7,400).
  • WR - Brandon Marshall (NYJ - $8,300) and/or Eric Decker ($6,400).

or

  • QB - Ryan Fitzpatrick (NYJ - $7,400).
  • WR - Brandon Marshall (NYJ - $8,300) and/or Eric Decker (NYJ - $6,400).
  • RB - Chris Ivory (NYJ - $7,700) and/or D - Jets (NYJ - $4,800).

Tournament Stack:

The Bears defense is also atrocious, and Teddy Bridgewater has been pretty good lately. He also has an emerging superstar wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, who is playing like a solid WR1. Combine all of that with the inconsistent play of Adrian Peterson, and you've got the potential for big numbers. The pair of Bridgewater and Diggs is a bargain for a QB-WR1 play. You can also go to battle with the Vikings defense against Cutler & Crew. Cutler has been better recently, but you never know when he's going to throw three interceptions.

  • QB - Teddy Bridgewater (Min - $6,900).
  • WR - Stefon Diggs (Min - $6,700).
  • D - Vikings (Min - $4,700).

We hope these Sunday Stacks stuff your Fanduel account. May your lineups score early and often.
