The top of the NFC West is strong, but the bottom is weak in 2016. The same is true for the NFC West in fantasy football.

It's hard to imagine a tougher NFL Division at the top than the NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks and the Arizona Cardinals were Super Bowl-caliber teams last year and should be again in 2016.

Of course, it's hard to imagine a weaker Division at the bottom than the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers were dreadful, and the newly-relocated Los Angeles Rams were, well, the Rams. Expect much of the same from both.

Nevertheless, the Cardinals boast a blazing offense, and David Johnson and Rams lone superstar, Todd Gurley, should both vie for top fantasy running back in 2016. We all want to see what a healthy Carlos Hyde can do, and we all wonder whether we're going to get a healthy Jimmy Graham. The running back situation in Seattle has a little shaking out to do, as does the wide receiver position in Arizona. Russell Wilson and Carson Palmer are studs, and whoever the starting quarterbacks are in Los Angeles and San Francisco are not - unless Colin Kaepernick can master Chip Kelly's offense.

On the whole, the NFC West is probably one of the tougher Divisions in the NFL defensively, but that should only hurt the Rams and Niners.
