Another week, another wild weekend. What the heck is going on in the NFL? The Jets play NE tough and get completely screwed on a call that could have changed the game. The Lions and Saints trade DL pick 6s. Jay Cutler beat the Falcons...at home. Aaron Rodgers went down and is now likely out for the season. What up is down and what down is the Browns.
Carson Wentz (Phil) - 21.3 points
I absolutely love Carson Wentz. He’s from a small school, he’s poised for a young fella, he’s athletic, and he’s not in the Lions division. Wentz was on a short week and on the road, yet, he still went bananas with 3 TDs. I’m sure the Browns are very happy for trading away the pick that snagged Wentz...
Fantasy News Advice: Wentz is a plug and play QB1.
Adrian Peterson (Arz) - 25.7 points
Remember when AP was too old to get any run in NO, that was last week. This week, he’s the toast of the desert. Peterson beasted on TB, and did it with over 20 carries. Game flow has to be right for Peterson to still be relevant, but the offense is starting to find itself.
Fantasy News Advice: AP should be owned everywhere and started as a low end RB2
Marvin Jones (Det) - 15.6 points
I really shouldn’t add Jones as a man crush, mainly because, I don’t think he can catch a football. Tate left the game with a shoulder thing, so, Jones might get the target share he did to begin the 2016 season. Think of the kind of day he could have if he could catch.
Fantasy News Advice: Jones should be added everywhere through the byes
Cameron Brate (TB) - 13.6 points
Brate was a risky TE coming into this season. TB drafted a stud tight end in the first round of the NFL draft. OJ Howard has shown flashes but has yet to make his presence felt totally. Brate had another TD in the game against the Cardinals, which usually are very tough against TEs
Fantasy News Advice: Brate is a plug and play TE1
In a week that anything but predictable, I predict another fun week of football
